Money and currency

Bangladeshi Taka in short BDT and (৳)  is the symbol. Coin and banknote both are available. 1 and 5 taka have coins. 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 taka banknotes are available in the market.

You must carry taka to buy. In some cases tourist spots, hotels and airports may accept USD and EURO. Banks, airports and hotels are the most trusted place to exchange currency and best price. You can also use local currency exchange services.
